I remember one summer when Terry and I, Debbie's parents, were away at a young people'e summer camp and Debbie was staying with Cherry and her family. She would come back home to feed and play with her cat for a while. Whilst we were away the cat was taken ill and needed to have some antibiotic tablets. Debbie had great difficulty in catching and giving her cat the medication. I had some ideas over the phone but it was Celia who showed us how it was done! She picked Bounty, Debbie's cat up as if he was a baby and cradled him in her arms and then popped the tablet in his mouth stroked him under the chin and before he knew it he had swallowed the tablet!! It was tempting to contact her every time he needed tablets rather than persevere ourselves! A dear friend who will be greatly missed xx
