A quick shopping trip

I smile when I remember the day we decided to quickly pop into Staines for a cuppa. Somehow we got distracted and ended up buying three purple scarves and a purple shawl totally forgetting it was our lunch hour.... we laughed as we rushed back to Gresham Road to find the bridge and path were closed as a lorry was stuck under it. With nothing else to do we ended up walking back into town for another cuppa to look at our purchases and call the office! I shall treasure my memories of Celia. Our hilarious conversations over the years in the car on the way to work and those shopping trips for purple scarf’s and thimbles of all descriptions. We shared laughter and tears and I know I was lucky to call Celia my friend and second Mum. I shall miss her wisdom and warmth and her big smile. Her weekly texts to check on me always made me feel loved. I have told her off for leaving too soon. She will never be forgotten and always loved by all my family. Allyson, Grant, Jade and Joshua xxx
